Final Version of Jupiter Lighthouse

The final version of the Jupiter Lighthouse.

Orchid Series

Orchid 2 on the top. Orchid 1 on the bottom.
Start of a new series of photographs of orchids. I have numerous orchids and have been photographing them for years. For this series, as each orchid blooms, it will be photographed with a black background.

For some time I have been working on this painting. It just sort of came in layers. The sky, the beach and woods in the background, then the cyprus (sp) trees, throw in some cat tails and then hmmmm what next. How about a dead log.

Revising an Older Painting

Sometimes a painting just does not work. I took the first version of this lighthouse, which I was very unhappy with the grounds and sky, and redid everything except the lighthouse. I did a little retouching on the lighthouse, and still need to do a little more.

Reflections of Hawaii

This is a small 8x10 painting of what started out as the Road to Hana in Maui, but I took creative license and sort of put in elements from several of the islands. The Road to Hana with its waterfalls, the clouds coming over the mountain from the famous pass in Waikiki and if you drove around Diamond Head in Waikiki you come upon an outcropping off the coast in the Pacific.
