Another couple of hours. I whitened up the tiles in the background, totally repainted her and put down a bottom layer of paint for the hair.

Finally decided to put her in some sort of tiled bath area.

Been working more on painting people. I am still very stuck on whether to keep the background light, paint it dark or add something to the background.

The Council on Culture & Arts’ Creative Tallahassee 2009 highlights the work of many of the city’s well-known artists, as well as exciting newcomers in its highly-anticipated annual juried exhibition. This year’s competition was fierce—over 175 pieces were submitted for consideration.
