Haley - This is a 20 x 24 oil painting on canvas.  The  original reference photo came from Nolan Streitberger of his daughter Haley when she had pink eye. 

Top one is Mila from Russia and the painting at the bottom is "Piggy", titled after the stuff pig this young lady has had since a small child.  Drawn on the blackboard.  Both are done in oils....

It has been forever since I posted to my blog.  This is Haley. This painting is getting there.  Now working in oils.  Once I start putting in the background it will all come together in something really cool...

Quick Nude

I think this is 9 x12 on gallery wrapped canvas.  Sort of did the figure and then went a little crazy with the colors to see what came out in the end.  Happy with this.

This painting, the background will be a garage door.  A third done.  Who will be in front of the door, I have no clue at this time, but I always get stuck having to paint the background last.  This time, first....

I think I have her pretty well down.  Just have to add the raven tattoos and figure out what is going on all about her.

Back to this one.  Did some work on the body today. More shading, etc.  Have got an idea for the pool of water and robe, plus how this will all flow with the raven tattoos.  Will start working on her face next.

Day 2, so I started to work on the face since the body alone just looked creepy.  It is coming along and still has a few more layers to go.  This will be painted over usually 5 times before the depth, values, etc start to work well.
