Working way too much on the foreground and background.
Experimenting on the right side and getting so so results.

Starting to get background and foregrounds put in. The lilies are only half finished. Making some really cool washes to create the water.

Starting to color in the geese.

Started laying in the background colors. As what usually happens with all my paintings, by the end it may look totally different.

3/09 Work on Hallek

Re-painted the legs and started to block in the hand and fingers. I hate having unfinished borders around a figure, so had to put in some color just to define her.

Trying to get the cap in plus get the shape of the face correct. She does not look so plump now.

Today I did a lot of work on the face. This photo really does not do it justice. Still a huge amount of work to do, but it is sloooooowly getting along.

"Sin" was accepted to be shown. It always seems like the one I just throw in as my last entry gets accepted.
Also in September, I have been accepted for "Art and Addiction" which will be a show at the FSU Fine Arts Building.

3/01 Work on Hallek

Today I just put on another layer to her backside and arm. Decided to go ahead and work on the shirt she is wearing. The blue at the bottom is trying to block in some colors when I come in to try to make white sheets, even though I may go back to the original with her being in a patch of forest or garden. I am even considering sitting on the beach with the water coming up around her.
